The National Training and Simulation Association is again sponsoring the Capitol Hill Modeling and Simulation Expo in support of the Congressional Modeling and Simulation Caucus. The event will be held on Thursday, July 14, from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm, in the main foyer of the Rayburn House Office Building. The theme for 2022 is “Maximizing Patient Safety: Modeling and Simulation in Healthcare," showing how modeling and simulation can be used across the healthcare and first responder workforce to support critical care, patient safety, surgical procedural readiness, emergency management, and patient risk management.
The Capitol Hill Expo will provide you with the opportunity to engage U.S. Congressmen/women and their staff by demonstrating your technology; they seek to learn ways in which they can help with U.S. policy to further the use and development of these technologies in new and emerging fields. We encourage you to participate as Capitol Hill re-opens and allows our community to demonstrate the emerging capabilities in M&S. Of particular interest to our Congressional member and their staff are technologies that can enhance patient safety, mitigate and minimize risk, save time and money in a constrained budget environment, and provide expert practice in critical surgical and operational procedures.
Space is limited in the foyer and only a small number of demonstrations will be accepted. The maximum footprint is 6x6. Take advantage of this great opportunity to showcase your technologies. The cost to exhibit is $500 and deadline to submit interest is June 9.
