What is the Attendee Service Center?
Registered attendees can enter here by clicking the “Attendee Service Center” link on the right-hand side or directly through the Attendee Service Center. In the Attendee Service Center, you will see a screen to enter your email and password. You should have received an email confirmation that contained your login and password. Please contact Carol Dwyer for assistance. Alternatively, you can reset your password in the Attendee Service Center using the “Forgot Password?” link.

Be sure to update your attendee profile—upload a picture, add a little about yourself, and select a topic of interest to help you network with other attendees!

What is the Speaker Service Center?
If you are a speaker of a live session, you can access the Speaker Service Center here by clicking the “Speaker Service Center” link on the right-hand side or directly through the Attendee Service Center. Please contact Reneé Despot, rdespot@NTSA.org, if you have questions regarding your session.

What is the Exhibitor Service Center?
All booth and directory setup is done through the Exhibitor Service Center. The main booth contact for your booth has the login for your company to the service center. Please note that you will still manage all your personal appointments through the Attendee Service Center. Contact Shannon Burch, sburch@NTSA.org, if you have any questions.

How do I login to the virtual platform?
Beginning Monday, August 30 at 11:59 pm EDT you will be able to login to the platform. You will use the login and password that was emailed from eShow on August 24.

FAQs for the Virtual Platform

How do I add my photo to my profile?

  • Click on your name on right side of screen
  • Click on add photo
  • Click on actual photo (not the pencil icon)
  • Upload photo and save

How do I update my profile?

  • Login to your account at the Attendee Service Center and update OR
  • Select SmartMatch Appointments under the Networking tab, then click on the Profile tab to update matchmaking technologies
  • Scroll to bottom and press save

How do I view my agenda?

  • Go to Networking tab
  • Open My Agenda
  • You may also remove items from this agenda tab
  • SmartMatch meetings are not included in My Agenda

How do I add sessions to my agenda?

  • Go to Auditorium tab
  • Under all events, there is an Add to Agenda Tab, select and its added
  • Once added, the add tab will say “Registered” when you go back to the Auditorium

How do I view my appointments?

  • Go to the Networking tab
  • Open Attendee or Exhibitor Lounge (lounge is dependent on registration type)
  • Open SmartMatch Appointments
  • View confirmed or other appointments

How do I search for people to connect with?

  • Go to Networking tab
  • Open Attendee or Exhibitor Lounge (lounge is dependent on registration type)
  • Open SmartMatch Appointments
  • Type last name in Search tab
  • If the person does not show, go to the Keyword Search option and type name

What are other tabs for in the SmartMatch Tab?

  • Bookmarks: Save anything on the platform to remind you to view, visit, etc. If you click on “add to eBag” it will show up in both locations
  • Matches: Matches based on attendee profiles and ranked by best match
  • Time Blocks: Mark off times you are NOT available
  • Profile: Select technologies to be matched to like-minded attendees
  • Search: Search platform for everything, use tabs at top of search box to sort

How can I set up meetings and make appointments with other attendees and exhibitors?

  • Review the Networking Quick Guide document
  • Exhibit Hours are 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EDT on Tuesday, August 31 and 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EDT on Wednesday, September 1

How long will I be able to view the sessions and visit exhibitors?

  • If you missed a live session, the recording will be posted within 24 hours of each session (note if session is at 12:00 pm it will be posted by 12:00 pm the next day, not in the morning)
  • All papers, tutorials and live events will be available until October 1, 2021
  • All exhibitor details, videos and documents will be available until October 1, 2021
  • NTSA will send instructions to all registered attendees post iFEST

What are Discussion Groups?

  • Discussion groups are open to everyone
  • Engage with fellow attendees in discussion groups or exhibitors in their booth chats
  • Add your book suggestions in the Book Club discussion group
  • Post questions for authors, presenters, and fellow attendees in discussion groups by topic
  • Meet the Authors is 2:30-3:00 pm EDT Wednesday, September 1

Are the chat channels public or private?

  • All chat is public
  • If you wish to have a private chat, contact the participant directly

What is the main chat channel?

  • You should use iFEST Engage to “engage” others in the platform; you can scroll back and forth to view the conversations
